Howden BB GA

Howden BB GA is an after school group, which is a part of 5th Hull BB Company but is meeting separately at Howden Secondary School. It is supported and ran by experienced 5th Hull staff, with helpers from the older pupils at Howden School. There are two sections (or age groups) which will both meet on a Friday evening in the KS4 Dining Room (youth centre) at Howden School. The BB GA is open to both boys and girls. Although the BB is a Christian organisation our main focus is on Moral Values and having fun and working together.

Activities include games, crafts, puzzles, badge work, games, drill and team building activities along with a weekly circle time/devotions. Basically lots of fun! A uniform of a BB or GA polo shirt and sweatshirt is also worn. Our first trip saw us go to Hull to watch the Hull Wasps Basketball team. We have also been climbing in Grimsby and joined 5th Hull at their formal meal in December 2013.

At the moment we have over 10 members, but we really want to grow more so please come and join us.

Section Age group Times Subscriptions

Company Section Years 7, 8 and 9 3.00pm until 4.45pm £5 per half term
